Here we have some new products available for the Audi R8 from the tuning company Switzer Performance. The new packages enhance the performance figures for both the V8 and V10 versions; each individually priced.

The more powerful Audi R8 equipped with a 5.2L V10 also received a couple of upgrades to its engine and it is now able to produce 550 HP. This upgrade package will cost $3,995 and Switzer Performance also offers a carbon fiber airbox that includes filters and hardware and will add an extra 10-15 HP to the car’s power.

The Switzer Audi R8 won’t come with any styling changes but the car tuners could offer some additional upgrades such as LiDar detectors integrated into the mirror, full iPod and iPhone integration, custom illuminated door sills and high quality window tinting.

Cosmetic changes and tweaks under bonnet ensure Coupé and Cabrio 3-Series are cleaner and sharper-suited than ever. A raft of updates is helping BMW raise the bar with its top-selling 3-Series – and it appears one is better than two. Hot 335i versions of the Coupé and Convertible models have lost one of their two turbos in the facelift, although power stays exactly the same.

The new 3.0-litre cars still deliver 306bhp and 400Nm of torque, but the addition of BMW’s Valvetronic technology and more precise injection has enabled engineers to ditch the second turbo. At the same time, emissions are cut to 196g/km and fuel economy is improved to 33.6mpg.

The revamp to the Coupé and Convertible comes 18 months after the rest of the 3-Series range, and includes a subtle remoulding of the kidney grille and front bumper. LED rings around the headlamps, plus light bars at the rear, mark out the new models after dark.Inside, both now get leather as standard across the range.

Prices will rise by around £1,000 when the cars go on sale on 20 March. That means the Coupé starts at £27,845 for the 320i SE, with the Convertible from £32,905 for the 320i.

A tuning company from California, called Royal Muffler have released this modified BMW M3 with a sharp look. A new aerodynamic body kit consisting of a redesigned front bumper, side skirts, and an aggressive bonnet were installed.

As you can see, this BMW M3 E93 by Royal Muffler has many carbon fiber accessories and this is all we know, you should think that it may also have some other more carbon fiber parts because this is probably something like a theme for this tuning.

MINI reveal official pictures and details of upcoming 4×4 crossover

It’s the 4×4 MINI that wasn’t supposed to be revealed until next month! Following the arrival of three leaked pictures yesterday, MINI has decided to release official details and pictures of the newcomer- now known to be called the MINI Countryman.

With four-doors and an optional four-wheel drive system, the new car is taking the MINI brand into previously unexplored territory. But the BMW-owned company are keen to show that the essence of MINI hasn’t been lost. Despite its chunky off-road design, styling elements of the firm’s smaller cars are clearly noticeable, including the high-window line, large head-lamps and upright tail-lights.

On top of that, engineers have also done their best to maintain the go-kart style handling that has characterised MINI cars in the past.

The familiar variant naming scheme is also carried over. The entry-level MINI ONE Countryman is powered by an 89bhp engine while the range-topping Cooper S model is powered by a 181bhp turbocharged 1.6-litre engine. Engines are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard but all petrol models are available with an ultra-efficient six-speed automatic gearbox with steering-wheel mounted paddles.

Other fuel-saving additions include brake energy recuperation, a stop/start system and a gearchange indicator.

Volkswagen is preparing a new supercar Volkswagen Polo GTI for 2010. If the project smooth,their will participate in a Frankfurt Motor Show launch in September.

The Polo GTI 2010 with the same 1.4 liter super – and turbo-charged four-cylinger TSI as the Ibiza Cupra, this will likely be the fastest Polo ever. 178 bhp (130 kW) and 184 ft-lbs (249 Nm) of torque means this hatchback could have a 0-60mph in under seven seconds. The top speed will be around 225 km/h.

The fuel consumption for this litter supercar around are (7 L/100km, and 150 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The Polo GTI would likely fit into emissions Band C, so UK buyers would not have to pay a fortune in yearly vehicle tax.

Exterior styling will have many commonalities with the Golf GTI, such as a black honeycomb grille wrapped in a red line that blends seemlessly into the front bumper. Alloy wheels, an aerodynamic body kit, and an overall aggressive look is likely. We would not be surprised to see red brake calipers, dual exhaust, and signal mirrors.
