Audi A3 e-tron

German manufacturer Audi has launched today officially  A3-tron concept version.

Audi A3 e-tron is electric version of the current A3 Sportback whose engine can develop 136 CP and 270 Nm, with a range of up to 140 kilometers. Audi A3 e-tron can reach from 0-10 km in 11.2 seconds.

Audi A3 e-tron gives drivers running three different ways: normal, efficient and dynamic. For those who choose self-dynamic function is reduced. For those who choose how efficient A3 e-tron provides maximum autonomy of 140 kilometers. Charging the battery is full of nine hours when the load is 230 V and only 4 hours when using a load from a 400 V outlet.

Volkswagen Bulli

Nissan has released the first photos of the new electric model called the Nissan ESFLOW.

Volkswagen introduced a new concept car with a consumption of under one liter/100km

Volkswagen introduced the XL1 hybrid concept car at the auto show in Qatar, shorter than a Polo car – but very low – able to consume 0.9 liters per 100 km. Mitsubishi will launch a plug-in hybrid SUV in 2013

Mitsubishi will launch a SUV in 2013 with plug-in hybrid technology. The model will be the series version of PX-MiEV concept, exposed at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2009, said Yoshikazu Nakamura, in an interview for Automotive News. The hybrid SUV proposed by the Japanese house will measure approximately 450cm in length and will have AWD.

The model will be powered by a 1.6 liter gasoline engine combined with two electric engines. PX-MiEV series version will only run 50 km with electric units. The car will be sold in countries such as China, India and Brazil. Thereafter, the hybrid technology will debut on next-generation of Mitsubishi Lancer.

Chevrolet Volt – Car of the year 2011

Chevrolet Volt is the Car of the Year 2011 in Automobile Magazine. The award was presented by Joel Ewanick, Vice President of Marketing GM USA, on Wednesday, at the International Motor Show in Los Angeles.

When they have designated Volt as Car of the Year, Automobile Magazine editors wrote:
