The new Chrysler 300 SRT8 was officially presented today at the New York Auto Show 2011.

Chrysler 300 SRT8 2012 is equipped with the new Hemi V8 engine Pentastar 6.4 liters, producing 465 CP and 630 Nm of torque, which means an increase of 40 CP over the old 6.1-liter V8 Hemi engine.

Power is sent to the wheels via the same 5-speed automatic transmission, but this gearbox is controlled by valves located behind the steering wheel. Those mentioned that the new Chrysler 300 SRT8 accelerates from 0-100 km / h in just 5.0 seconds and reaches a top speed of 281 km / h.

The new Chrysler 300 SRT8 2012 received a suspension system and an Adaptive Damping Suspension disc brake system larger, 14.2-inch front and 13.8 rear, and which use 4-piston Brembo calipers. Thus, the braking distance from 100 to 0 km / h the new 300 SRT8, which weighs 1.835 kg, is 36.5 meters.
