The new Alpina B5 Touring

Nobody ever bought any layout or station wagon model, but things will change radically with the introduction of the new Alpina B5 Touring. Following the world premiere debut at the Geneva Motor Show German tuner latest creation promises to redefine the term break / touring / avant / estate.

Based on the already-smart BMW 5 Series Touring (pictures speak for themselves), the new Alpina B5 Touring benefits from the same recipe for success and sedan and is distinguished by subtle aerodynamic kit – which includes the front spoiler extension, extension for rear spoiler and wheels multispita design. Although interior pictures are missing at this moment, we can expect the latest creation of the German tuner to enjoy the sport steering wheel, leather trim, wood accents and more.

In terms of powertrain, the new Alpina B5 Touring is more than simply a means of transportation that you walk, complete with luggage, from point A to point B. Like the sedan version, the alluring hide Touring V8 engine under the hood biturbo ready to deliver the driver no less than 507 HP and 700 Nm. The entire power is transmitted to the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox, acceleration from 0-100 km/h achieved in approximately 4.8 seconds.
