The new Infiniti will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show will be equipped with a 1.8 CGI engine from Mercedes.

New Infiniti compact will be a three-door hatchback, which could be adopted under the hood, the world premiere, a Mercedes engine. The coupe, the size of a Mercedes CLC, but totally inspired  Infiniti Essence concept will be developed on a platform of new generation front-wheel drive, which will rise on future Renault Megane.

The new Infiniti will have a 1.8 engine CGI capable of developing 204 CP, but meet emission standards and emission of only 178 g / km.

Being a partnership between Mercedes and Renault-Nissan alliance, both companies will benefit. On the one hand, those of the Renault-Nissan will benefit from the Mercedes engine that we have spoken above, and on the other hand, Mercedes will have electrical systems from Renault.
