2011 Peugeot 908 LMP1

Peugeot unveiled the new competitor of the 24-hour race Le Mans, Peugeot 908 LMP1.

2011 Peugeot 908 LMP1 is based on the old 908 model which won the race at Le Mans in 2009, but instead of a V12 engine, the new fireball is powered by a turbocharged 3.7-liter V8 sitting at an angle of 90 degrees to In contrast to the V12 that was placed at an angle of 100 degrees.

With this new engine, Peugeot 908 LMP1 in 2011 has 550 horsepower which is in accordance with new regulations, with 150 horsepower that is less than in 2010. Also, new regulations were imposed and a number of aerodynamic changes and, as you see, the new Peugeot 908 LMP1 has a closed cockpit and a wing plane, as the new Audi R18.
