Formula 1: Ferrari F150 new car for 2011

Ferrari presented the 57th seater called the Ferrari F150 which will compete in Formula 1 World Championship season in 2011.

Ferrari chose the name F150 as a tribute to the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, an event celebrated this year.

Luca di Montezemolo said that thie mission is that Ferrari F150 to win the title: “This year has to win and we will do everything possible to achieve victory. ”

Being called the national 662, Ferrari F150 is in line with the new rules, that has a revised front end, an adjustable rear spoiler and a new tank hidrauclic new dimensions. KERS system is available again thanks to Ferrari F150 increasing minimum weight and weight distribution is in accordance with new regulations that apply in terms of safety.

Like other race cars that will compete in the 2011 Ferrari F150 has lashings of wheels in case of an accident, and now are lower air intake. Also, the rear suspension was revised, the system’s disposal remained identical to that used in the 2010 season, while the cooling system was modified to accommodate and KERS.

The brake system of the new Ferrari F150 has been completely rebuilt, while the propulsion is provided by the same engine.
