Detroit 2011: Hyundai Curb Concept
Besides the novelty Veloster, Hyundai launched the new concept Curb at Detroit, which reiterates the concept to the extreme lines of the new design language “fluid Sculpture” and promises to honor a competitor for Nissan Juke.
Being a show car, the car is at least interesting aspect and it seems that we are also preparing a version of the series to position itself as ix35. Returning to the prototype lights are noted with an original design.
If the appearance be less troubled, neither let inferior cabin is not being split like a science fiction movie. Most of the Hyundai they called a UAV – Urban Activity Vehicle, but Curb is a small crossover class, a small demonstration of what we plan style for the future Korean.
The model is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter that produces 175 horsepower. The unit is coupled to a dual-clutch automatic transmission. It benefits from Idle Stop and Go technology to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption in urban areas.
Curb promises consumption of 7.84 litres/100 km city and 5.88 litres/100 km in the extra mode.
