Ford Vertrek
The main attraction of the blue oval stand at the Auto Show in Detroit 2011 must surely be Ford Vertrek, a concept that offers a preview of the new SUV generation that will replace Kuga models.
According to sources from inside of North American company, the new Ford Vertrek will be launched in 2012 with a EcoBoost gasoline engine under the hood (1.6 liters with start-stop technology) and with more legroom and a bigger trunk than the Kuga model.
Also, Ford Vertrek is with 5% more aerodynamic than Kuga, proposing a more aggressive-looking front end with large air vents, with a carbon fiber diffuser, side cameras that replace side mirrors and with a traditional panoramic roof bit unusual.
As you can see in the gallery below, Ford Vertrek concept proposed and a modern interior that uses high quality materials, with a futuristic board and interesting design seats. Still remains to be seen how many of the elements presented in this concept will be up to the production version of Ford Vertrek.
