Ford has announced the B-Max concept presentation for next year at the Geneva Motor Show, in March, according to Automotive News Europe. The Minivan that will replace the current Fusion will be a rival to the Opel Meriva and will go into production until the end of 2011 in Craiova (Romania), following for the sales to begin in 2012.
B-Max will be the smallest car in the range of Ford minivans for Europe, which includes C-Max, S-Max and the largest – Galaxy. Minivan will offer five passenger seats, rear side sliding doors and will be built on the same platform used for the 2008 Ford Fiesta.

Ford Fusion was launched in 2002 and decided to replace it after it reached number 5 in its segment, according to models like Meriva, Citroen C3 Picasso, Renault Modus/Grand Modus and Opel/Vauxhall Agila. After the first 10 months of this year, Fusion sales have dropped 36% to 30,577 units, after a record from 2007 when 82,696 copies were sold, earning the 2nd place after the Opel Meriva.
