10 cars that car enthusiasts dream of driving before they die – Bugatti Veyron SuperSport
This is the last car in our series of “10 cars that car enthusiasts dream of driving before they die“. It’s difficult to know where to start with the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport. Actually it isn’t! There’s only one place to start and that’s with the fact that the Veyron SuperSport is the fastest production car ever made. The original Veyron was capable of hitting 253.81mph thanks to its 8.0L W16 quad-turbocharged engine which puts out over 1,000 horsepower.
At the time, that speed was a world record but after the SSC Ultimate Aero took the crown with a top speed of 257mph Bugatti quickly responded with the Veyron SuperSport which with an extra 200 horse power managed to hit 267.86mph. Considered to be the greatest car ever made, it has been compared to the Concorde because of its revolutionary engineering.

Capable of doing 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds and 0-124mph in 7.3 seconds, the only flaw in this amazing car is the £1.7 million ($2.7 million) price tag which unfortunately makes it out of reach of almost all of its admirers.
