Rumor: Skoda is working on a new SUV
Latest rumors that concern Skoda car manufacturer revealed plans to develop a mid-size SUV, which will be located above the Yeti. The information was revealed by the French Caradisiac.com, mentioning 2013 as release date.
Skoda range expansion in this direction seems natural if we consider the success enjoyed by the Yeti. Any turnaround would take things, the international media are already talking about the advantages of the new model.
The SUV is expected to share the platform with the Volkswagen Tiguan AWD. The interior will be more spacious and modular and will be borrowed from the Touran.

Moreover, according to the source cited above, the SUV will have approximately 460 cm in length (Yeti measuring 4.23 m in length) and can accommodate seven people. Such speculation is not the first appearance in the past defending even a name for this new model: Bigfoot.
As I said, the older brother of Yeti crossover will be launched, it seems, in 2013.
