At the Paris Motor Show (4 to 19 October) SEAT presents the premiere of the new model Exeo to the international public. By this new sporty middle class saloon Spanish car manufacturer extends its model range, offering for the first time a sedan in this class.

Referring to potential buyers of new cars, SEAT President Erich Schmitt said: Exeo is dynamic and sporty drivers for the midsize car segment. In addition, we now have a vehicle for our current customers who want a compact car class larger. Exeo is an interesting alternative for company car drivers, who want to feel near as good at driving but pay attention to costs, consumption and emissions.

The most important features of this sports saloon 4.6 m are dynamic shapes and elegant at the same time, precision, high comfort and dynamic driving range and organic. SEAT Exeo will be launched with three petrol engines (from 75 kW/102 hp to 147 kW/200 hp) and three common rail Diesel engines of latest generation (from 88 kW / 120 hp to 125 kW/170 hp) . Five of these six engines are turbo engines, providing increased power with lower fuel consumption and fewer emissions. Also Exeo model engines meet Euro 5 pollution standards.

In terms of equipment, Exeo offers, among other things, a latest generation navigation system, a new infotainment system with multiple functions and connections (MP3, MPEG4, IPOD, USB, Bluetooth), and a sun roof with solar cells be put into operation during the summer air conditioning system when the car will be parked.

Four-link front suspension and trapezoidal link rear suspension car to be sporty and agile handling. Exeo offers both technology and top quality. The model will be manufactured in Martorell (near Barcelona), using the same quality assurance processes due to which the Ibiza has already managed to become a leader in its segment.

The new SEAT Exeo will be available in spring 2009 as the Reference, Stylance and Sport.
