Mercedes S 350 and S 350 BLUETEC BlueEfficiency

Besides the new 4.7 liter V8 engine, the German car manufacturer has introduced two new engines that will help the new model Mercedes S Class in 2011 to obtain a lower fuel consumption.

The first of the two is a V6 3.5-liter naturally aspirated version will team BlueEFFICIENTY 2011 Mercedes S 350 and which develops 272 horsepower (200 kW) and 370 Nm of torque. With this engine, luxury German vehicle has a fuel consumption of 7.6 liters per 100 km and CO2 value was reduced from 234-177 g / km.

The second engine is a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that will equip the new Mercedes S 350 BLUETEC and that produces 258 horsepower (190 kW). In terms of efficiency, this engine is very clean, CO2 emissions are 177 g / km and fuel consumption dropped to 6.8 liters per 100 kilometers. New Mercedes S 350 BlueTec AdBlue system comes standard with emission control.
