Volkswagen has released official pictures of the new Touran, which will be presented at the Leipzig Fair.

The new generation Touran identify with the style of the latest models of the House of Wolfsburg, which is slightly smaller than its predecessor, but with an open style of conventional rear doors. The model is a successful one because the first generation sold total of 1.13 million copies.

Besides aesthetic updates, the second generation Touran is fitted with the new TSI and TDI engines. Onset unit TSI 105 hp 1.2-liter, with BlueMotion technology, available with Stop & Start device and energy recovery system brakes.

Were confirmed and TSI engines of 1.4 liters and 140 hp and 170 hp more powerful version, the latter being coupled solely to the seven-speed DSG transmission.

Front Diesel Touran comes with a 1.6-liter TDI versions 90 and 105 horse power, the latter benefiting also the BlueMotion technology and consumption of 4.6 liters per 100 kilometers.

Some proposals include manufacturer and propeller TDI 2.0 liter versions of 140 and 170 horse power, injection common rail.

New VW Touran has five seats, which is available with three equipment levels: Trendline, Comfortline and Highline.
