Geneva 2010: Porsche Cayenne at his second generation

Porsche Cayenne arrived at the second generation and we are directly present in Geneva. Easier, more dynamic and a hybrid version, the German SUV is shaping up to be a success. The new Cayenne S Hybrid is the first Hybrid of the manufacturer in Stuttgart, being propelled by a combination of a 3.0-liter TDI V6 (333 hp) and an electric motor that develops 47 hp.


With a maximum output of 380 hp and 580 Nm, the Cayenne S Hybrid boasts similar performance as Cayenne S’s V8 engine. And that’s not all. Porsche Cayenne is available in four versions, starting with an entry-level 3.6-liter V6 & 300 hp and ending with the top model Cayenne Turbo, powered by a V8 twin turbo of 4.8 liters and 500 hp.

The new Porsche Cayenne increased in size, being 48 mm longer. In addition, the wheelbase has increased by up to 40 mm, while the weight down to about 180 kg. In terms of exterior and interior design, the new generation of German SUV’s will definitely enjoy the same booing and cheering as the Panamera Sedan.
